Simmons Institute maintains a Financial Aid Office prepared to assist prospective students with information concerning sources of financial assistance and application procedures. Descriptions of the programs, eligibility requirements, application procedures and award amounts are available from the Financial Aid Office. In addition to this information, the Financial Aid Office offers publications to further explain financial aid. |
| Eligibility Requirements |
| Students pursuing an Associate Degree and enrolled at least half-time (6 or more credits in each regular semester) may apply for financial aid. |
| Disbursements |
|
Financial assistance is awarded to the student on an academic year basis (an academic year is defined as 30 weeks of consecutive class time). Proceeds will be applied to the student's account and any balance will be returned to the student within 14 days of the receipt of the proceeds. Students are advised to arrive prior to the start of the semester with sufficient resources to cover attendance costs anticipated through the first 4 weeks of classes. |
