Transfer Policy
Transfer credits are accepted from accredited postsecondary institutions at the discretion of Simmons Institute.  These must be "semester" hours of transfer credit.  Only credits are transferred; and grades achieved at other schools are not included in the student's grade average at Simmons.  All credits must be certified by an official transcript.

Simmons reserves the right to evaluate the transcript from other institutions.  The applicability of transfer credits is determined by Simmons Institute.  Content of  the course must duplicate the course offered by Simmons.  Transfer credit must be a grade of C or better if earned within 5 years of the student's entry into Simmons.  A grade of B or better may be considered if the credit was earned more than 5 years prior to the student's enrollment.  The student's overall GPA must be 2.0 or better for transfers to be considered.

The maximum allowable number of transfer credits is 30 credit hours.
